On this bike tour you cycle along the edge of the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. You discover Namibia by hiking in the oldest desert in the world and cycling through the desolate Naukluft Mountains. In Swakopmund you experience the time when the Germans colonized this area and ride to the Spitzkoppe, the impressive landmark of Namibia, with its massive granite peaks. You have a look at the thousands of years old artistry from the bushmen (Khoisan) of the time in Twyfelfontein and go on safari in the Etosha National Park.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All cycling routes are on gravel roads. Although the routes are generally easy to ride and carefully selected, the condition of the roads can be a little bumpy depending on the weather. However, you are flexible because the support vehicle is always nearby. If you are in average shape, the roads are easy to ride. On the travel dates offered, it is the dry season in Namibia. During the day it is pleasantly warm up to 28 \u00b0C, at night the temperatures in the desert can drop to a few degrees above zero.<\/em><\/p>\n
